Starting Line

The Kids Run, Half Marathon and 5k race will start at London Bridge Beach.  All runners will be encouraged to stage in the starting area by 6:45am for the start of the half marathon.  Runners should be lined up according to their estimated finish times with faster runners up front. Slower runners and walkers near the back. The Half Marathon will begin promptly at 7:00am.  The 5k participants are encouraged to be at the race start to cheer on their fellow runners, warm up and get ready to race.  We’ll invite 5k participants to the starting line at 7:45am and the race will start promptly at 8:00am.  Most runners and walkers should be done by the start of the Kids Run which will be at 10:30 and invite you to stick around for this super fun event.  There is nothing like seeing the smile on these kids faces when they cross the finish line!

The half marathon and 5k is chip timed with a split mat along the course.

Finish Line

The Kids Run, Half Marathon & 5k participants will receive their finishers’ medal upon crossing the finishers mat. All runners will enjoy refreshments, bagels and fruit at the Recovery Zone. The Finish Line Festival is open to all runners, their friends and family, and the community.  Runners receive one free beer at the Mudshark beer garden (must be 21 and older) to celebrate their victory and enjoy live music.  The Awards Ceremony will begin at 9:30am for the 5k; 11am for the half marathon at the stage in the park.

Race Number & Timing Chip

Your race number IS your timing chip!  Timing devices are attached to the back of the bib number.  These must be distributed during packet pick-up; they cannot be mailed. We prefer you pick up your own race number & chip, however if a friend or family member picks it up, they will be required to leave their name and contact number. Please plan your trip accordingly. You’ll need to show your race number to pick up your T-shirt.

In order to be timed, race numbers must be worn on the front of your person the entire race. A runner with no bib number will not be timed not to mention will also be treated as a bandit and asked to leave the race by course monitors.

Gear Check

Shed your layers at the start and pack dry clothes for the finish. Your goodie bag will serve as your gear bag on race day, and your gear label will be attached to your race number.

On race morning, a gear check booth will be located at London Bridge Beach and operating between 6:00am and noon. Make sure you affix your personalized gear tag to your gear bag before you leave it at the booth. Bags must be claimed by noon on race day.

DO NOT leave valuables, cash or jewelry in your gear bag; the event is not responsible for any lost items.

Information Booth and Lost & Found

The Gear Check/Packet Pickup area  positioned in the park will act as the Information Booth on race day.

The Information Booth will also serve as the race day Lost & Found. Any valuables found at the start or finish should be turned in to the Information Booth. Any valuable items NOT claimed at the finish by 12:30pm will be donated to charity.
